Operation Christmas Child Distribution Week Volunteers

As a reminder, here are the slots that everyone volunteered to help during distribution week. If you have questions or would like to still help out, please talk to Kathy!

• Wednesday, Nov. 19 8:30-10:30am: Shay and Jake

• Thursday, Nov. 20 8:30-10:30am: Rowdy and Zac

• Friday, Nov. 21 3-5pm: Shay and Richard

• Saturday, Nov. 22 12-2pm: 2-3 Cole and Tori

Serve FBC

If you are able and wanting to find a place to serve, please let us know. This can range from music on Sunday to just helping straight up the building. Some areas that we need people to serve and take ownership of include: Fellowship Meal set up and clean up every month, Youth Group and Kids Club set up and clean up, Website updates, create and print off weekly bulletin, checking in on people, and any other thing you think would be useful to FBC. If you have questions or want to volunteer, you can talk to Zac or reply to this email!

 

France Mission Trip

There are still two slots open for a mission trip! The dates are July 12-19, 2026.

 

No-Shave November Fundraiser for Children’s Ministry

Throughout the month of November, Zac, Rowdy, Jonathan, Jake, and Wyley will grow out their beards. Then, on December 7, we will shave one of their beards in a fun and unique style. The winner will be based off of individual donations made in their name. Contribution will go towards Children’s Ministry which will help fund things like VBS 2026. To make a donation, you can give online or through a giving envelope - just be sure somewhere it says “Children’s Ministry” and the person who you are giving on behalf of.

 

Christmas 2025

Last year was great for our church in how we handled the Christmas season, so we will do the same thing this year. 

• The Sunday after Thanksgiving, we will have work day in the evening (5pm). This will include cleaning the building, but primarily decorating for Christmas. We will have food provided. 

• Then, our FBC Family Christmas Service will be December 7(before everyone starts traveling) during our 11am service. We will do a (church) family tree ornaments like we did last year. Please plan to bring an ornament representing your family and towards the end of service, we will decorate a tree together.

• Then, in the evening we will have a special Christmas Celebration starting at 5pm. We will have a special time where our kids will put on a play, we will sing Christmas carols, we will shave the No-Shave November winner, and spend time together eating and playing games. Please plan to bring a dish to share!
